The Life and Legacy of Minister FRANKLIN FLORENCE
In honor of the life and legacy of Rev. Franklin Florence, RBSCP is creating a digital resource showcasing and highlighting material from his collection, beginning with this digital exhibition.
This growing resource will deepen awareness around Florence's rich and far-reaching impact as a widely respected minister and civil rights and social justice leader in the Rochester, New York, community and across the United States. New materials from the collection will be added regularly to the site.
Ongoing collaborations to honor Rev. Florence's numerous contributions to the Rochester community are in progress. Working with the family of Rev. Florence, community members, and the University of Rochester, future endeavors will be shared widely both on this site and through the press and the community at large.
Please contact us for questions or additional information about this site and the Franklin Florence Papers.
