May 26/83 - Saturday P. M. - no more letter since
I wrote you - I shall go to London Friday next - the 29th
[?]'s birthday - 18 years old!! - If, when
I get to London, I find you really have given up
coming over this summer - I shall take a
look at Scotland & Ireland & make for
home in a very few weeks - unless
somebody has forever to make me see it
for the best for me to stop longer - which I
do not believe they can - I want to see
the end of (clearing/cleaning) out those boxes of
papers & things this autumn - I am
seeing very little of Paris - can't get
about without Rachel to start me out.
