Description
Edward P. Jones' recently published novel The Known World won a National Book Critics Circle Award and a Pulitzer Prize. His short stories have appeared in Essence, The Paris Review, Ploughshares, and Callaloo. Jones taught creative writing at the University of Virginia, George Mason University, the University of Maryland, and Princeton University. His first collection of short stories, Lost in the City (1992) won the PEN/Hemingway Award.
