My dear friend

[Think ?] [both ?] the enclosed
letter from Julia A. Wilbur, came
duly. It interested and [provoked ?] me
much. I made it work while it was
in my hands, Knowing how incontrovert-
ible to most minds, seems the testimony
of an eye - witness in her own hand -
writing. I read it around the neighborhood,
I copied portions to send in other [discre ?] -
