Sterling Ills. Nov. 28/67
My Dear Mrs Post,
The leisure of a Thanksgiving
day induces me to think of you and feel
like "dropping a line."
You know I claim you as one of my best
friends, and so, I want you and your
good husband to have a pleasant [remem-
brance?] of me.
I have been very busy since I saw you
last, in the cause of Freedom.
Now, I am doing [nicely?] in this State,
speaking sometimes for [illegible], and some
times on my own account.
Opera houses are filled for me, and
almost every where the subject receives
excellent attention.
I wish you would send me a few words.
Anything mailed as soon as Dec. 16th
directed to: Care- D. M. [Townier?], Esq
Mendota, La Salle Co Ills. will reach me.
Love to yourself and husband from
E. Annie Kingsbury
