I had wondered why I did not hear from thee and I was expecting to get a letter telling me when thee was coming on to N. York to attend the Women <Suffaige> meeting un till one evening last week Merritt brought home a daily paper sat down and commented reading the <illegible> of their meeting that day and Oh how I held my breath to hear the name of Amy Post read on some of the <illegible> committees
