The climate is very genial and is quite healthy ^.^ I believe that state is called so justly and I know thy dear boy (now I suppose a large man) used to enjoy the country air and the variety of such a life ^.^ These remarks are from thy old friend whose latter days are full of new experiences [Hollings] is now in Indianapolis peddling some sort of patented thing and writes cheerfully his daughter Nellie Curtis has left her husband to earn a little more money and then to join her in Tenn^essee^.
