Isaac and Amy Home Sunday Eve April 10

I found Ada worse off than

I expected, and my uncle better. I was mistaken in regard to Adas difficulty. It is not a “milk leg”; but is a fear ful pain in the fleshy part of the left hip And what seems the worst part of it she is discouraged. And it is not a won der, since she has been confined so long with it. She cannot be moved from her bed, and for a whole week, before I came home she had lain upon her face. Her nervous system is almost entirely upset. I fancy that it is for the most part psycholo= gical, and if it were ____ I should throw it off very soon of course it is real, and terri = ble to Ada.
