Bearders took along walk this

afternoon teachers with us seventeen

in all. went west through fields woods

and by road. went two miles or so

a very pleasant walk but ^we are home tired

This morning Seaman and I went into

the woods and rooted up four trunk I

had two maples and he one maple and

one pine. passed through a sugar

bush sap running some. We are

to set out our trees and ____ leave

some thing to be rembered for.

After study hour after tea Seaman

and I went out and planted our trees

he had a pine about eight feet high
 +
I a maple about ten, had a great time

boys and girls came out. danced

around the May pole. ____ swung
