My dear Amy

                       I know by this time thee [?] feels

anxious to hear from me how I would love to talk with thee today - I would tell thee a lot of things the first I will tell thee of my arrival I soon reached Lockport after leaving Isaac at the depot - found no trouble in storing my things - and walked off - by my little paper guide to Niagara St. found Mrs. Bennett without any trouble - - she had been many times to the car to meet me but had almost given me up - - she was however very glad to see me - and I had to devote the afternoon to riding a lady friend of hers thought I must look over the town to enjoy myself so she kindly came in a beautiful carriage and we rode all over a lovely country - the town
