Jospeh's object in going to Pennsylvenia, I should like some more stockings. I hope thick pare of pants have been made over for me [illegible] Uncle Joseph's [illegible] and [ ] made me a new [illegible] and [illegible] [ ] him two collars (those [ ] ones for New Years, They have a bird here which they caught he had been living around the house several weeks some people say he is a mocking bird. I am well and getting along pretty well in my studies. I have not been to Roslyn in two mounth's or more and I have not [illegible] Uncle Willet and Aunt Matilda in six weeks or more, hope for I will go and see them, Write oftener and come soon From thy Son Willet E.
