in getting either workers or nurses so some body must be [illegible] Mary expected? all children I ever saw for patient? endurance taking all medicine when required she? most of the time when not spoken to delusions? talk -ing constantly her little hands reaching & grasping at some invisible object yet almost always when anything was done would say thank you or please give me drink her appe- tite begins to come and the [illegible] says the greatest caution is necessary the swelling has gone very much from all parts of her body but I should not recognize her com now I told you I did not know any thin only of [illegible] and suffering and I have proven? it I guess you will? think today is the anniversary of dear Lizzie's marriage it seems in this respect a long time ago since that [illegible] or rather since she left us the weather somewhat similar only now it rains in the afternoon instead of morning and the sun was bright and all very far? this morning I was greatly in hopes I could attend anniversary's this year as last? I was only one day in NY and as I was not shall enjoy reading the full reports which come in the standard I guess from all which I can gather of the Equal Rights meeting it would have much better if the Stanton? Anthony wing had been less offer? in then [illegible] at controlling? things somehow I fear the cause has been injured by their unanimous? [illegible] but I will wait awhile before I judge fully as I have not read or heard much yet Joseph thought Lucy Stone the day he was there exceeded all in wisdom and ability [illegible] [illegible] but as
