Dear Husband, I hardly know which is duty - whether to come immediately home or to write, we are having so good a time listening to the discussions on suffrage for [illegible] - black men and women that I hardly know how to leave, yet I know that I am wanted at home. Curtis has not yet spoken but is [illegible] his opportunity with anxious vigilance. Yesterday and day before was on his feet half a dozen times but could only say Mr. President when some other name would be announced by the chairman and down he must sit.
