Dear Friend Amy,

Feeling that you have cast me out the darkest corner of your closet of forgetfulness. I have kept me these longer than perhaps you are aware of. I feel that I must make an effort to clam at least a small Place in your remembrance. I cannot easily forget my last visit to Rochester & tho [sic] many happy hours I spent in your Pleasant Parlour in interesting conversation with you & instructive as well it was to me. I ??? pleased ??? we made together. How is our dear kind Mr Post ???? ann?? - is she still with you do you hear anything of the Morrisses scince [sic] their father died how is Mrs Willis and Mrs Hullowell ??? & thy dear son Jacob & his wife and children & Mr ??? Joseph Post & her little daughter /her husband I am not acquainted with/ do give my best love to them all. & kind remembrance to
