Dear Friend Amy,

Feeling that you
have cast me out the darkest corner of
your closet of forgetfulness. & have
kept me these longer than perhaps
you are aware of. I feel that I must
make an effort to clam at least
a small Place in your remembrance. I
cannot easily forget my last visit to
Rochester & tho many happy hours I spent
in your Pleasant Parlour in interesting
conversation with you & instructive as
well it was to me. I ??? pleased ???
we made together. How is our dear kind
Mr Post Mary ann - is ^she^ still with you
do you hear anything of the Morrisses
scince their father died how is Mrs Willis
and Mrs Hullowell & thy dear son Jacob &
his wife and children & Ms Joseph Post &
her little daughter ^her husband I am not acquainted with^ do give my best
love to them all. & kind remembrance to
