her letters from P Ridge are quite lively for she
is good at description. she says they went to see
Mary Peckham who has taken on an unfortunate
old woman and her babe to give her home as
Maria Meshar turnd her out - and Mary
[] she should have a home somewhere. My mind
went to my "Refuge" and just as it often does
especially as I take the [] and read all
what is going on . What should I do without
such a paper unlike all these []
I also receive the "Universe Banner & Journal"
from my friends after they have read them^.^
They are just as good for me ^.^ one friend of
Watkins sends a bundle as a time and they
are read and reread to my edification and
comfort ^.^ I enjoy every thing with a zest which
[] of Royup. I have heard of a young woman
who went from John Pacon place to
Dr _____ at Corning [] she was to return to take the
place of matron there. I can't get hold of his
name ^.^ names & figures leave sometimes but
