March 6, 1872 Dear Brother [illegible] We have had the reading of two letters from you for which we have as yet made no returns. It was very pleasant to hear of your safe arrival and visits at Westbury Rather to our surprise Catherine concluded [seconday?] morning to go with Ginny Dickinson and Grace (who have been staying at [Isaac's?]) that evening, and went to depot with that expectation but somehow let the cars pass on without them so waited till yesterday (thursday) morning when they did get off in a storm of wind and snow and cold So, I think she would not have gone if her baggage had not gone on the night before. That made her feel more like persevering. I hope by this time - one o'clock, that she is
