Pg. 2 the thought scious, so my poor child was spared ^ of home and friends. They wrote that every thing was done that was possible and that he was mourned by everyone in the place, that he was laid out in the Town Hall and at the time of the funeral all business was closed out(crossed out) out of respect for him

  It is some consolation to us to know

that he was thus respected

 Since their deaths how we have desired

to realize that they are with us but thus far there is nothing to assure us of their presence, how I have wished I could dream of them, it does seem if they are as we ^have thoug- ht spirits were they must know our great desire to have some manifestation from them As for going to mediums I don’t know of any that I would have confidence in and then extravagant charges would be more than I can pay.
