My uncle from Connecticut is here, now on a visit. I have told him all about you - and he wants very much to have you come and visit them. I have promised him to go with you, if I can leave school.

I wish you could be here at the holidays - why can't you then we'd take a trip to New England.

I reached home only on Friday last. - had a delightful visit at Cleavland [?] but very sick on the Lake.
