My Dearest Esther
It is just three
weeks to day since I received thy good kind letter & the day following the pictures came, I have not fram- ed them yet but intend to do so soon. It rained all the first week after your letter came & was such a dark week that Sojourner could not have her likeness taken & the next week we were obliged to wait till ??????????????morning the artist was so busy & now another week has elapsed with out my being able to send them I have had Company & been so busy that I could not go for them, I have no girl at present one boarder &
