It seems very strange to have her away home as she always been such a home body but suppose she as well as us will get used to it by & by. We are invited to tea at cousin Stephen Rushmore's to morrow (New Years) night it is to be I think a company for Samuel and Kate. Father and mother were invited there to dine on Christmas day but failed in getting there. Stephen Post and his lady were up Christmas; cousin Lydia said she seemed very sociable and pleasant but not acquainted with friends. I think likely they will be married about the middle of the month although I do not know as they have the day fixed upon. Cousin Abby Seaman last third day evening had an attack of parralasis and from last accounts she was helpless and speechless have not heard whether she knew anyone and
