he is waiting guess he will give his own ideas about it We took our friends
to Jericho M M yesterday it seemed very
different from the times Amy and G remember
for when so many who we looked on as
being wise and good were speakers and
actors now so very ^[illegible]^ few Rebecca & Mary
Underhill the only ones we had used to meet with
the rest all the next generation yesterday
Charles F [Titus?]'s son and [Issac] Willets daughter was
married yesterday gone on a little [illegible] our
neighbor Edward Titus has left home and gone to
the mining country about Lake Superior Ann we
[fear?] is glad hopes all the [illegible] will go when
old enough her reason is that William did
not buy the place Jacob Franklin now owns
so that they could live here [Du Post?] as
you probably know has been gathered to [illegible]
fathers and quite recently we heard they
had not let his Mother know of his death
when she inquires? us told he is no better?
a great mistake I think never causes
than at the time no information to his coun-
try relatives to attend his funeral I hope
Williams house is going on sale [factouly?]
It is so tedious to wait the time of builders
shall rejoice with them in its completion
Saml enjoys their improvements as much
as I could wish and at present they only
need more help had a new girl 21 days but
did not seem quite suiting let her go she wandered
to stop her [illegible] [Katie?] has been complaining
but was better Marys's medicine cooks quite down
had fun trying a [write but fatigued?]
