Husbands return. She has six
children now which
I feel to be quite sufficient for
a Poor man at least I wish
William was married with half
that number as I know you
will be Pleased to hear it I will
Inform you that he Nell My son
has a situation In the Post Office
& what is more Gratifying still he
is in the same department & room
with his uncle [illegible] it appears
to be mutually Pleased so far.
how I wish it was in my Power
to run in and see you once
in a while. Mrs Jacobs & her daughter
are In Europe. Lecturing they heard
have keen zeal zelous in the cause
of the Freedman during the latter
Part of the visit & being its close
Please answer this & as I leave the
city next month Perhaps you may
remember me before that time I hope
you will not [get/yet?] out of Patience reading this
as there is nothing to recommend it to you [afterward?]
