[illegible upside down text] is out take Wille or Wille take thee and I come out and make a visit after [illegible] and we will go up to Orange and got to Long Iland I will take thee all around a visiting after thee gets here I am going to send thee Merritt card so that thee can go right to his place and he will come up with you come and stay several weeks for your health we are nicely fitted have plenty of room if any of my friend come this way I hope they will come and see us Thee asks shall thee write the J D Marken I got a letter from Elmira soon after I got here saying I must come home and attend to that [illegible] [illegible] will I felt pretty sorry over it for the [illegible] [illegible] is I should not go and I did not know what was best to do I was quite home sick and very unwell I was almost sick I thought of it a day and then set down.
