If we are able to keep Amy along till Spring I shall try and take ^her into some part of your state and let her remain two or three months. I am not in any frame of mind for correspondence otherwise. There ^are many things of interest to you and me of which I would be glad to say a word. and I must say from some cause [unclear] to me the "[unclear] Right Cause" is not advancing according to my expectations and I regret it . for I do believe its success would be of immense advantage to the Country at this [receiving?] causes of [unclear] [unclear] [unclear]. and [unclear] [unclear].
