again is quite wet now has been very
nice time ^for^ planting corn we miss our

the whole an not sorry they are gone
so for the men we have I think try
to suit and much quieter times in the
house and and think am in hopes it will
continue. do not feel like sending
either of them with hay to market so
are pressing it and carrying to the boat
do not get quite as much for it have
sold it at Roslyn for 90 cts per cut
loose hay at Brooklyn sell from
87 to 125 cts per cut we are not farming
as largely as we have done not got as
many cows do not plant as much corn
and not mow quite as much as common
Edward Titus has left home we ^have^ gone to take
[Superier?] in the mining region have herd
with a new machine to [crush?] are the family
have been disposed to keep his concerns very
much to themselves
