John of Cornell has visited the meetings
on the Island this week at our meeting
he had much to say to individual states
encourage some to faithfulness and if so
would have to speak to the people and
some others that had got in a discourage
situation did not go into doctrinal but
very little Monthly meeting at [illegible]
very rainy day quite a large meeting
most of his consern seemed to be to the
society desiring the members to live up
to their profession. They might be a light
to others. Next week in our yearly
meeting I suppose we shall go if our
sick friends are so as to be prudent
have been so long in the habit of
going it seems a matter of course
some things that are done by society
have no unity with [nor?] not much with
some of the publick expanders. and
with some others so much unity that I
think the good over balance the evil
the Quaker principle lived out I think
