Pg. 2 orthodox feel their strength renewed, our English friends come out so boldly, but I shall not attempt to give thee a History of their proceedings as I was not a witness ___ there of. In a box—[what is to be said about Charles Willet ___ the case is he worthy ___] We are calculating on going to Westbury to see Priscilla Hunt tomorrow and hope may be favored to hear her but its said she has had a number of silent meetings and I am a little a fearing that she will disappoint us but it appears to me that she must give us Jericho folks a lesson. 4 day morning and a very rainy one. it is very uncertain whether we see Priscilla to day John Searing gave us a call who we were truly glad to see but I did not feel quite satisfied his stay with us was so very short but I must acknowledge his kind ness in walking so far in so short a time was more than could be desired I was in hopes of seeing him again but now it seems unlikely. please give my love to his wife, sister and Mother. also should like to be remem bered Sarah Frost Henrietta Willets and children

    Shall I say any thing to thee about Anna Hendrick 

son. I may say that I never have called to see her crossed out-[yet] since she become a nearer neighbour than former ly. but really I have thought so much of her lately that I do not know whether it will be best for me to keep quite away from there if reports are true she has not got one of the most agreeable men for a husband that crossed out-[was] is desirable one of her neighbors
