Prince Street Campus
Awakening the Campus Spirit
This silent movie represents the earliest known recording of the University, and while it was clearly intended to tell a story, the storyline is a bit mysterious. The scene is the Prince Street Campus, with the Memorial Art Gallery featured prominently. The cast are the students and faculty, all cheerfully following a now-unclear script.
Campus Day, College for Women, June 16, 1934
For their reunion, the alumnae of the College for Women gathered on their campus at Prince Street (where the Memorial Art Gallery is). Included in their events was a production of "Alice in Wonderland" on the stage in Cutler Union, with each reuning class* presenting a scene from the book.
