Four Quotable Women from RBSCP Collections
Pulling from the bright and vibrant portraits, each quote and each color represents a glimpse into the mind and the spirit of these four important women, all of whom have significant manuscript holdings in our collections. The University of Rochester's Department of Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation actively collects and documents the history, lives, and legacies of women from all walks of life. While these four women served their communities as powerful forces for change, every woman, every life represented in the archives is one that merits investegation, and offers lessons and insights into the past, our present, and where we might see own own futures.
